MedLink AIR is the emergency medical helicopter for Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center. Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year MedLink AIR can be airborne in minutes. With a service area encompassing a 150-mile radius of La Crosse, including communities throughout the Tri-State Region of western Wisconsin, northeastern Iowa and southeastern Minnesota, MedLink AIR is ready to serve.
CAMTS Accredited
 MedLink AIR is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS). CAMTS is regarded as the air medical industries’ most respected and highest level of accreditation. This accreditation is a reflection of MedLink AIR’s commitment and focus on quality patient care and safety during air medical transport.
Experience Counts
Providing critical “care in the air” since 1992, MedLink AIR’s highly trained staff has the experience you expect when it comes to caring for critically ill and injured persons. Transporting patients from referral hospitals to Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center or other tertiary care facilities accounts for approximately 70 percent of our flights with the remaining flights directly to the scene of accidents.
