| | Pediatric Orthopaedics
This area of Orthopaedics focuses on the care of musculoskeletal problems in newborns, infants, growing children and adolescents; this may include acute care of traumatic injuries and fractures as well as the management of chronic disorders is available. We also see, evaluate and treat children with musculoskeletal problems associated with hemophilia, cerebral palsy, myelomeningocele, spina bifida and bone cancers.
Special multidisciplinary clinics staffed by developmental pediatrics, pediatric neurology, dietetics, social services and orthopaedic specialists are available for the complex care necessary for children with spina bifida and cerebral palsy.
Our goal is to provide excellent, family centered care while addressing the special needs of young patients and their families.
