At Gundersen Lutheran Sports Medicine, we understand the injured athlete's need and drive to resume physical activity as soon as possible following an injury. We are dedicated to helping athletes perform at their potential - safely.
 Here, both recreational and competitive athletes receive diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of their athletic injuries. The sports medicine team includes fellowship trained, board certified family practice and orthopaedic surgeons, certified sports physical therapy specialists and certified athletic trainers.
In addition to treating sports injuries, this coordinated, multidisciplinary team provides preventive care through patient education and the design of individualized fitness and exercise programs.
Non-operative care and rehabilitation is provided by highly qualified sports physical therapists utilizing state-of-the-art equipment.
Sports medicine outreach programs provide athletic trainers and team physician services to area high school and college athletic teams.
