      <description>Each year, in the United States, more than one third of adults over the age of 65 fall. Falls can result in moderate to severe injury, or even death. By proclamation of Governor Jim Doyle, September is "Fall Prevention Awareness Month” in Wisconsin. While all falls cannot be prevented, it is a good idea to examine your own living environment or that of a loved one to make sure the area is safe.</description>
