With the region’s only pediatric endocrinologist, Gundersen Lutheran provides diagnosis, education, and treatment to children with a variety of endocrine concerns such:

- Growth disorders, especially short stature
- Early or delayed puberty
- Hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism
- Turner syndrome
- Hyperlipidemia or high lipids in the bloodstream
Patients with diabetes meet with a team that includes the pediatric endocrinologist, a certified diabetes nurse educator, and a nutritionist. The program has extensive experience in intensive management of diabetes.
