Infectious Disease & Wound Center

Infectious diseases are caused by germs. The germs can be bacterial, viral, fungal, or protozoan. You can get infected by a germ through touching, eating, drinking or breathing. Most infections can be treated by your primary care provider, but complex infections are treated in Gundersen Lutheran’s Infectious Disease department.
