Allergies and asthma are a leading cause of acute and chronic symptoms, which result in work and school absenteeism for millions of people each year. Allergies affect individuals regardless of age, race, gender, or socioeconomic status. Common allergies are seasonal hay fever, dust mites, mold, animal dander, food, insect stings, latex and medications.
