Occupational Therapy works to increase your independence in day-to-day living activities (dressing, grooming, home safety and home management like cleaning and cooking, memory and problem solving skills related to daily routines). People learn to compensate by developing skills and using assistive equipment (such as splints, wheelchairs, self care and prosthetic devices) which make activity possible.
Our group of occupational therapists has over 60 years of experience in providing specialized, comprehensive and compassionate Occupational Therapy services for our patients. Our staff also includes a rehabilitation technician and office assistant with several years of experience.
We strive to work closely with patients and their families to set and meet their rehabilitation goals through evaluation, treatment, education, patient and family teaching, provision of specialized programs and follow-up care.

self care strategies for patients ranging in age from adolescent to geriatric, with the following conditions:

- Orthopaedic injuries/surgeries, pre- and post-op treatments of joint replacements

- Neurological disorders (stroke, TBI, SCI, Parkinson's MS, etc.)
- Cardiac surgical and nonsurgical

- Burn treatment
- Acute and chronic pain
- Pre-driver's screening program
