Gundersen Lutheran's department of Dental Specialists is composed of dental specialists who will work with your family dentist to provide you with the best possible dental care. If you are referred to us by your family dentist, we will work with him/her to evaluate your needs and develop a treatment plan.
Some patients may need the services of more than one of our dental specialists. If so, consultations can easily be arranged, usually the same day, for your convenience.
Gundersen Lutheran's department of Dental Specialists was established in 1962 and is the only private clinic in the country offering all of the recognized clinical dental specialties.
Emergency, after-hour care
When you begin treatment with any dental specialist at Gundersen Lutheran, you will be given a phone number to call in case you have problems and the Clinic is not open.
An oral surgeon is on-call at all times for dental emergencies. If you have a problem that requires immediate care, please go to Gundersen Lutheran's Trauma and Emergency Center for treatment.
If you are under the care of one of the Clinic's dental specialists and your emergency relates to that treatment, it is best to contact that specialist first.
